Residence Hall Reservations

Topical Conference participants can make a reservation at Cambridge House Residence Hall, located on the campus of the University of Michigan. Click here to see a map of residence hall locations.
Cambridge House The building's neo-Tudor style architecture lends it an air of tradition and history. Adjacent to the Michigan Union on central campus, Cambridge House is just steps away from University classrooms, meeting rooms, administrative buildings, and local restaurants. For your convenience, located in the Michigan Union, you will find the Michigan Union Bookstore, access to ATM machines, the University of Michigan Credit Union, Amer's coffee shop, Wendy's, Subway and Villa Pizza restaurants and a UPS store. When it opened in 1920, Cambridge House was originally located in the Michigan Union and named the Michigan Union Hotel. In the 1930's, Cambridge House was added to the Michigan Union and the hotel was moved and renamed. Today, Cambridge House Residence Hall, with air-cooled roomsyep and private baths, is also attached to the West Quad Residence Hall.

Rates and Reservations
Single Room - $49.00 a night
Double Room* - $62.00 a night

*We do not assign roommates, if requesting a double room, you must be prepared to give us the names of both guests upon making the reservation. The room will be billed to one guest.

All room rates are per night. There is an additional one time administrative fee of $3.50 per person for UM sponsored groups and a $6.00 fee for non-UM sponsored groups. Please provide us with a credit card number to pay for your stay. Your credit card will be charged in advance.

If you fail to show up for your reservation and do not cancel 48 hours in advance of the day of your arrival, you will be charged for a one night stay.

AAPT Topical Registration Cambridge House registration is now CLOSED due to capacity.
